Veneers Financing and Payment Plans in Los Angeles
Veneers are priced per tooth. At Wilshire Smile Studio, composite veneers start at $100 per tooth and porcelain veneers at $1,000 per tooth. Most people treat the six to eight teeth that show when they smile, so the total can run from a few hundred dollars to $8,000 or more. This page explains how to pay for veneers monthly through CareCredit, what the payments look like at our prices, and four ways to bring the total down.
What veneers cost at Wilshire Smile Studio
- Composite veneers: from $100 per tooth. Shaped directly on the tooth and finished in one visit, no lab.
- Porcelain veneers: from $1,000 per tooth. Made in a dental lab and bonded over two or three visits.
- Consultation: $99, including complete X-rays.
Your exact total depends on how many teeth you treat, which material you choose, and how much preparation each tooth needs. You get an itemized treatment plan with the full price at the consultation, before anything starts.
How CareCredit financing works
CareCredit is a healthcare credit card that we accept for veneers and all other treatment at Wilshire Smile Studio. You apply online in a few minutes and usually get a decision right away. Once approved, you can use it for your own care and for family members.
CareCredit offers two kinds of plans. Short promotional plans charge no interest if you pay the balance in full within the promotional period. Longer plans spread larger amounts over more months with a fixed monthly payment at a reduced rate. Which plans are available depends on the amount and on your approval, so ask us which ones apply to your treatment.
- Apply at carecredit.com, or ask our front desk to help you apply in the office.
- Book the $99 consultation with X-rays.
- Leave with an itemized treatment plan and the total.
- Choose a plan length that fits your budget.
- Start treatment. Composite veneers are done that same visit.
Subject to credit approval. Minimum monthly payments are required. If a promotional balance is not paid in full within the promotional period, interest is charged from the purchase date. See carecredit.com for current terms.
What veneers cost per month: worked examples
The examples below divide the starting price evenly over the plan length, the way a no-interest promotional plan works when it is paid off on time. Monthly figures are per month over 12 or 24 months, use the “from” prices per veneer, round to the nearest dollar, and leave out the $99 consultation.
| Veneers | From | 12 mo | 24 mo |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 composite | $400 | $34 | $17 |
| 6 composite | $600 | $50 | $25 |
| 4 porcelain | $4,000 | $334 | $167 |
| 6 porcelain | $6,000 | $500 | $250 |
| 8 porcelain | $8,000 | $667 | $334 |
A tooth that needs extra preparation or a custom shade can cost more than the starting price. Your treatment plan replaces these estimates with real numbers.
Four ways to lower the cost
1. Treat the teeth that show first
Most smiles show six to eight upper teeth. You can veneer those now and add lower teeth later, or never. Treating fewer teeth is the single biggest saving.
2. Choose composite now, porcelain later
Composite veneers cost about a tenth of porcelain and are finished in one visit. They typically last around five years, and they can be replaced with porcelain veneers when you are ready.
3. Whiten the teeth that only need a color change
If a tooth is the right shape but the wrong shade, professional teeth whitening costs far less than a veneer. Many patients veneer the front teeth and whiten the rest to match.
4. Use the consultation before you decide
The $99 consultation includes X-rays and an itemized plan with the total. Nothing is booked until you have seen the numbers.
Insurance, HSA and FSA
Dental insurance usually treats veneers as cosmetic and does not cover them. If a veneer is repairing a chipped or broken tooth, part of the cost may be covered. Bring your plan details to the consultation and we will check for you. Health savings and flexible spending accounts follow similar rules: cosmetic treatment is generally not eligible, restorative treatment sometimes is, so ask your plan administrator.
Paying at the office
Treatment is paid for at each visit unless you have arranged a payment plan in advance. Porcelain veneers take two or three appointments, so the cost is naturally spread over those visits. Our front desk is happy to talk through payment arrangements and insurance questions, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Who will place your veneers
Your consultation and treatment are with Dr. Fariba Aslemand or Dr. David Sewell, each with more than 30 years of experience, at 6200 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 1609, Los Angeles. Appointments are required; call (323) 922-5874 to book.
Veneer financing questions
Can I pay for veneers monthly?
Yes. Wilshire Smile Studio accepts CareCredit, a healthcare credit card that turns your veneer treatment into monthly payments. For example, six porcelain veneers from $6,000 come to about $250 a month over 24 months on a no-interest promotional plan paid in full on time. Plans are subject to credit approval.
Can I use CareCredit for veneers?
Yes. Wilshire Smile Studio accepts CareCredit for porcelain and composite veneers and for all other treatment. You can apply online or at our front desk, and you usually get a decision right away. On a promotional plan there’s no interest if you pay the balance in full within the promotional period. Subject to credit approval; current terms are at carecredit.com.
What credit score do I need for CareCredit?
CareCredit does not publish a minimum score. Approval is based on your credit history and income, the application takes a few minutes, and most people get a decision right away. If you are not approved, you can still spread porcelain veneers across the two or three visits the treatment takes.
Do I have to pay everything upfront?
No. Without financing, treatment is paid for at each visit as it happens, so porcelain veneers are paid across two or three appointments. With CareCredit, the card covers the treatment and you repay it monthly.
Does dental insurance cover veneers?
Usually not, because insurers class veneers as cosmetic. If a veneer repairs a chipped or broken tooth, part of the cost may be covered. Bring your plan details to the consultation and we will check.
How much is the veneer consultation?
$99, including complete X-rays. You leave with an itemized treatment plan and the total price, with no obligation to go ahead.
What is the cheapest way to get veneers in Los Angeles?
Composite veneers from $100 per tooth, finished in one visit at Wilshire Smile Studio. Treat only the teeth that show, whiten the rest to match, and use CareCredit if you would rather pay monthly than all at once.
